{pretty, happy, funny, real}

round button chicken

The sunsets have been gorgeous lately!

Two best buds playing house under the kitchen table!

A little nugget egg.  Funny and cute.
I think I'm going to blow out the inside and save it!

Breakfast--making french toast.
Which happens a lot now with all these eggs!
I think Jacob took this (because I didn't and he's not in it!).

  1. I love the kids making breakfast together. It reminds me of my childhood, and it's a memory they'll be likely to cherish!

    I chuckled to myself after reading your comment about blowing out the funny egg and keeping it. My great grandmother often did that with the eggs she liked from her chickens. She hung them on an "Easter" tree (usually a ficus) and four generations later, my son is learning to blow and dye eggs for an Easter tree.

  2. That is a sweet memory of your grandmother--and what a great connection to have with your son. I love all those little moments that we connect to people we love. AND...the eggs are naturally beautiful! I can't wait for Easter. :)

  3. Great pictures! The sunset is beautiful. I also like seeing the kids in the kitchen. I try to include my kids whenever possible when I'm cooking.
