Tie-dye.

We had some fun making tie-dye t-shirts last week.  It has been a couple of years since the last time we made them so the kids were really looking forward to it (I bought the supplies at the beginning of the summer!).
Gotta love that Nick is still in his pajamas!

Elizabeth was all about the purple.
Notice the white shirt she was wearing?
Yeah, it got splattered so she ended up doing that one as well!
Our finished shirts from left to right:
Mom's, Nathan's, Peter's (he got two because we werent sure of the sizing), Elizabeth's, and a onesie for our new baby girl.
Patrick's, Peter's again, Jacob's, Nicholas', and Dad's.
The three youngest wore theirs to the first day of co-op!

Potatoes.

I think this is the last of our harvest of potatoes.  We've been digging a little here and a little there for dinners but finally I think this is the last of them.  8 pounds worth.  Some went into the fridge for dinners in the next couple of weeks.  Some were chopped and frozen for future mashed potatoes.  And some were shredded for hash browns or adding into soups.  And you can see in the back corner that we are still getting a few cherry tomatos (and small regular tomatos).

Halfway!

We hit the halfway mark (20 weeks)...had the ultrasound yesterday and found out we are having a GIRL!

Elizabeth literally jumped up and down with excitement, yelling and cheering!  Nicholas said after a sister we are having a brother.  :)  I think he's being a bit in a hurry.  It was quite the exciting moment.

We feel really blessed and quite thankful to be balancing out the boy/girl ratio around here a little more.  And, I thought it was very ironic that yesterday Ann Voskamp posted this--brought tears to my eyes!
